Sir C.V. Raman Hospital is located in Indiranagar and have helped number of patients in years. The annual OPD of the hospital is 136040, IPD-13795, Surgery- 3293, Delivery- 2435, Laboratory-118638, X-Ray-8245 and Scanning- 6205. All minor surgeries and Joint Replacement surgeries are being done in the hospital.

The Govt. of Karnataka, Health and Family Welfare Services have constructed the basic Infrastructure and provided the staff. The need of the hour is to strengthen the hospital with modern equipment’s and make it patient friendly.

Campaign Story

Sir C.V. Raman General Hospital was proposed as per G.O. No. HFW 463 CGM 2007 Dt:30/09/2008 with 250 bed strength and was commissioned vide G.O.No. HFW104 CGM2012 Dt: 30-10-2012 during the year 2012-13. The Hospital was started on 07.11.2012.

The hospital is located in 3 acre land with 8235.00 Sqm.- Basement , 4710.00 Sqm- Ground floor,  4710.00- First floor, 4710.00 Sqm. -Second floor and Total- 22,365.00 Sqm. Plinth area.  The hospital has facility of 6 staircases and 4 lifts.

The hospital is equipped with 250 Beds, has 5 Operation Theatres, 1 Labour Room, Casuality, and Minor O.T. The hospital is functional with 17 wards, 16 departments and 18 OPD’ s.

The hospital has been strengthened as per the Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) staffing norms. The Specialties available in the hospital are General Medicine, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Radiology, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Forensic Medicine, Psychiatrist, Pathology and Dentist.

Other facilities available in the hospital are Dialysis, Integrated Health Unit (Yoga, Acupuncture, Cupping, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, etc.)  Lab, X-ray, Scan, Audiometry, Physio-therapy, NCD clinic, Jana Sanjeevini, ART Center, ICTC, Blood Bank etc.

  1. Entire hospital infrastructure, casualty, minor O.T. security and OPD services improved.
  2. Hospital sewage, STP Plant, Laundry and linen services is improved.
  3. Major O.T. has been completely renovated and two new ophthalmic O.T. and septic O.T. has been started.
  4. Labor room, OBG department upgraded.
  5. Orthopedic department and O.T has been upgraded and Joint Replacement Surgeries, and other advanced surgeries has been done and is only the 3rd major non-teaching government hospital after KCG and Jaynagar General Hospital.
  6. ENT department – Audiometry services and Micro surgeries has been started.
  7. Hospital lab has been upgraded and advanced lab services like HbA1c is Provided-First state run hospital to do so.
  8. Blood Storage and Blood bank is established.
  9. Department of physiotherapy completely upgraded.
  10. State of the Art Modern Medico Legal complex is operational and is the model such unit in the entire state.
  11. Generic drug store has been opened since Feb 2017.
  12. Integrated Health Care System has been started in this hospital – first state run hospital to provide these services.
  13. Dialysis has been outsourced and upgraded with 7 machines and 3 shifts. Shortly 5 more machines will be installed.
  14. CSR activities-OSB India Pvt. Ltd., Hindustan Petroleum Ltd. Manohar D Chattalani have provided general surgical instruments, R.O plant and Baby warmers.
  15. Free Medical checkup camps are being done on a regular basis.
  16. E- Hospital services has been launched.
